School: Evansville (Ind.) Memorial HS Drafted/Committed: Indiana
Age At Draft: 19.3
BA Grade: 50/Extreme
Fisher is an athletic 6-foot-3, 185-pound righthander who also starred on the gridiron as an all-state quarterback in high school. He then won Indiana’s Gatorade player of the year this spring after taking a step forward on the mound, a development that required plenty of evaluators to rush in to see him in the process. Fisher has a modern, high-spin arsenal and plan of attack, missing bats with a cutting, riding fastball that stays on top of barrels from a lower release. After previously sitting around 90 mph and getting up to 93 in 2024, Fisher was more in the 92-94 mph range and topped out at 95 this spring. The added power helped the rest of his arsenal play up as well. Fisher also throws a snappy mid-80s slider, a slower curveball and a changeup to round out his four-pitch mix. There are some questions about his overall feel for his secondaries despite the high spin rates, and his delivery has some risk, but Fisher repeats it well enough and threw plenty of strikes this spring. The Indiana commit will be 19 on draft day and may be competing with other signable prep arms in this range, but a team that covets his combination of release traits and pitch mix could make a push to land him inside the first three rounds of the draft.
Scouting Grades: Fastball: 55 | Slider: 60 | Curveball: 50 | Changeup: 45 | Control: 50.
