Minor League Transactions: July 13–Aug. 1, 2025
This installment collects all transactions involving minor league players, i.e. those not on 40-man rosters, for the period July 13 to Aug. 1. As always, transactions are conveyed by Major League Baseball.
The abbreviation that follows player listings refer to minor league level: Triple-A (AAA), Double-A (AA), High-A (A+), Low-A (A), Rookie-level Complex League (R) or Dominican Summer League (DSL).
• Some players are designated as (40-man) in this installment because they are 40-man roster players involved in trades involving minor leaugers. These 40-man players are not established big leaguers, having spent part or all of 2025 on optional assignment to a minor league affiliate.
• Players categorized with “outright assignment to minors” were designated for assignment, cleared waivers and then sent outright to the minor leagues, typically to Triple-A. This is the process by which organizations remove players from 40-man rosters. Previously outrighted players have the right to elect free agency, as do those with three-plus years of MLB service.
