  Young for the class (he will be just 17 on draft day) with a slender frame, Comeau has a lot of attributes to like and could take a huge step forward once he packs on more size. He has a fluid, low-effort lefthanded swing with good rhythm and generates impressive bat speed for a hitter just scratching the surface of his strength potential. For a young hitter with a slender frame, Comeau is able to drive the ball with impact, both to his pull side and to the opposite field, with the projection to grow into plus power once he packs on more size and strength. A below-average runner, Comeau is an offensive-oriented player with the arm strength that could fit at third base in pro ball, but he will have to improve his hands and footwork to stay in the infield, so an outfield corner could be a landing spot as he gets closer to the majors.

  Comeau is one of the most projectable players in the class, as a lean and lanky 6-foot-4, 180-pound lefthanded hitter who will still be 17 years old on draft day. Comeau stands out for his offensive upside and present polish. He has a fluid, low-effort swing with good rhythm, and he generates impressive bat speed and impact for a hitter just scratching the surface of his strength potential. He drives the ball well to all fields, and it’s easy to dream of huge power coming as he continues to pack on more strength and size. Comeau was a consistent performer throughout the 2025 circuit. Defensively, there are more questions he’ll need to answer. He’s not a runner, and should wind up at a corner in some capacity, with left field and right field being most likely—though he does have the arm strength that could be a fit at third if he makes strides with his hands and footwork.
