School:TCU Age At Draft: 21.0
Drafted: Never Drafted
Following a slow start in which he was hitting just .167 through March 2, Strosnider exploded and ended up posting a gaudy .350/.420/.650 slash line with 13 doubles, a nation-leading 10 triples, 11 home runs and 51 RBIs en route to taking home Big 12 freshman of the year honors. He fits the description of “tooled out” to a tee. Strosnider has plenty of bat speed, plus raw power—especially to the pull side—and a plus arm. He’s also a plus runner who’s a center fielder by trade, but likely profiles best in a corner outfield spot long-term. The biggest key for Strosnider going forward will be adding a coat or two of polish to his hit tool, though this year he flashed above-average bat-to-ball skills. -
School: TCU Committed/Drafted: Never Drafted. Age At Draft: 21.0
Strosnider showcased an enticing blend of physical tools—led by huge raw power—as a high schooler but made it to campus at Texas Christian. He showed much more hitting polish than expected and was named the Big 12 freshman of the year after he hit .350/.420/.650 with 11 home runs, 10 triples, 13 doubles and 10 stolen bases. A 6-foot-2, 200-pound lefthanded hitter, Strosnider is one of the more tooled-out players in the class. He has great bat speed, plus raw power, a strong arm and plus running ability that could allow him to play center field. Most of his time in the outfield in 2025 came in right, which is his most likely future defensive home. While Strosnider’s freshman performance was impeccable, he could stand to sharpen his swing decisions and become a bit more selective in his follow-up campaign in 2026 when he’ll be a draft-eligible sophomore. -
School: Brock (Texas) HS Commit/Drafted: TCU
Age At Draft: 19.1
A 6-foot-2, 190-pound outfielder and first baseman, Strosnider has an exciting toolset that features bat speed, tons of raw power and above-average arm strength. He put on a show in batting practice at the 2023 Area Code Games and showed off plus raw power to the pull side, though he is still on the raw side as a hitter. Strosnider is aggressive with his swing decisions and his bat path gets long and steep which leads to lots of swing and miss, but he has been able to catch up to 90+ mph velocity. Staying balanced with his lower half, within the strike zone on swings and showing a better job tracking and making contact with breaking stuff and off-speed will be keys for his offensive development. He has a litany of exciting tools including plus arm strength, plus raw power, plus speed and a great frame that should only pack on more strength in the future. A center fielder in high school, it would be unsurprising for Strosnider to move to a corner in the future where he should have more than enough power to profile well. Strosnider is committed to TCU and was also a talented high jumper and high school basketball player. He’s expected to be a tough sign and will be 19 on draft day.
