Drafted: Never Drafted
Scolari ranked No. 245 on the final BA 500, yet he went undrafted. Scolari spent two years recovering from Tommy John surgery, and in his return to the mound, he pitched to a 4.22 ERA with 77 strikeouts to 39 walks across 70.1 innings. A 6-foot-4 righthander, Scolari’s fastball sits in the 91-93 mph range but has been up to 96. His low-80s sweeping slider and firm changeup are his most effective secondary offerings against both righthanded and lefthanded hitters. Scolari will spend what will presumably be his final college season at Oregon, where he figures to compete for the Friday starter role. -
School: San Diego Drafted/Committed: Never Drafted
Age At Draft: 21.2
After two years of recovering from Tommy John surgery, Scolari returned to the mound in 2025 to make 16 starts for San Diego. He got better as the weather warmed up and finished the season by striking out 33 batters over his final four starts. He went 5-3, 4.22 overall in 70.1 innings. Scolari is the rare draft-eligible redshirt freshman after missing his senior season in high school and 2024 season with San Diego because of the elbow surgery. Listed at 6-foot-4, 200 pounds, Scolari relies heavily on a 92-93 mph four-seam fastball with average life that touches 96 at its best. He has a low-80s sweepy slider that’s his go-to secondary for righties and a firm, 86-88 mph changeup that he uses as the go-to secondary against lefties. Scolari is pitching in the Cape Cod League to get additional work and exposure.
